Realme UI 7.0 OS launches in India

Realme has officially unveiled its next-generation operating system, Realme UI 7.0 OS, based on Android 16. The new interface will debut with the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro, set to be the first smartphone running the new version straight out of the box.

The company announced the rollout roadmap for other Realme devices, starting later this month. The update will also reach the Realme GT 7 Pro and other models across Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.

Rollout roadmap for Realme devices

According to Realme, the Realme UI 7.0 rollout will begin in November 2025 for flagship phones. Other eligible models will gradually receive the update through early 2026.

The company’s roadmap includes its mid-range and premium phones, ensuring a wide rollout across its portfolio. Realme aims to deliver a smoother and smarter experience with the new update, emphasizing personalization and performance upgrades.

What’s new in Realme UI 7.0

The Realme UI 7.0 OS brings a fresh visual identity described as a light glass design, offering transparency, depth, and fluid animations. Users will notice several redesigned interface elements that enhance usability and aesthetics.

Among the new highlights are:

  • Ice Cube Icons for a softer, 3D appearance
  • Misty Glass Control Center with a layered look
  • Breathing Dock, adding animation to the navigation bar

Realme claims these features create a “more natural and immersive interaction” throughout the interface.

Focus on intelligence and smooth performance

Beyond design, Realme UI 7.0 also enhances system intelligence. The OS includes better resource management for improved battery life, faster app launch speeds, and adaptive personalization.

According to the company, the new OS represents a “leap forward in intelligence, personalization, and smoothness.” It is also optimized for Android 16, ensuring improved privacy, performance, and multitasking capabilities.

When to expect the update

The Realme UI 7.0 OS update will start rolling out to Realme GT series devices this month. Broader updates for other models are expected to continue into early 2026.

Realme users can check the official update roadmap on the company’s website or through the Realme Community app to see when their device will receive the new version.
